Please join us in supporting the first ever collegiate hosted mini marathon at Indiana. Proceeds will benefit the Bill Z. Littlefieldup Scholarship for Survivors, awarded to a cancer survivor to earn an undergraduate degree at any Indiana University.

2.  Pre Race Ceremonies
(featuring B97's Jeremy Gray as the MC)

7:30AM to 7:55AM

3.  Mini Marathon

8:00AM

4.  5K 8:15AM
5.  Awards and Post Race Ceremonies
(i.e. Concert and other entertainment)

All events take place on the Indiana University campus.  Events will start at Assembly Hall and run through one of the most beautiful college campuses in the nation.  Packet Pick-up, registration, and expo will all take place in the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse (through Assembly Hall).

Parking

Parking is available throughout parking lots around Memorial Stadium and in the North lots north of Memorial Stadium and the John Mellencamp Pavilion.  PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL PARKING SIGNS ON RACE DAY.  NO PARKING IS ALLOWED IN BARRICADED AREAS AROUND ASSEMBLY HALL.

Benefiting Cause

Indiana University Circle of Life is a 501 (c) (3) registered not-for-profit student organization housed on the Bloomington campus. Circle of Life is hosting the first-ever collegiate mini marathon in the state of Indiana and in return is funding one of the largest scholarships for cancer survivors in the nation.  All in honor of a former professor of the Kelley School of Business, Bill Z. Littlefield, who passed away from cancer in the summer of 2005.  In his honor the Circle of Life has named the scholarship the Bill Z. Littlefield Scholarship for Survivors.  Proceeds will benefit the scholarship endowment at the Indiana University Foundation.

All event courses including the mini marathon, 5K, and 1 mile are certified by the United States Track
and Field Association.

Restrictions
 
  • No bikes, inline skates, headsets or pets are allowed in the half marathon event.
  • Strollers are allowed only in the 5K event and One-Mile event but must line up towards the back of the pack.
  • There is a 3 hour and 20 minute time limit for the half-marathon event (15 minutes-per-mile). There is a 1-hour time limit for the 5K event (19 minutes and 20 seconds-per-mile) and a 30 minute time limit for the 1-Mile event.
